Lilac Animal Intake & Recovery
LAIR, a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization, operates in coordination with other local wildlife rehabilitators, as well as community resources for cats, dogs, and other animals. We are located in Portsmouth, Virginia, and serve all surrounding cities and counties of Southeastern Virginia. We can only accept wildlife species for which we have a current permit with Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) and/or US Fish and Wildlife Service. Our Approach
At LAIR, we believe in a holistic approach to animal rescue and rehabilitation. We provide specialized care tailored to the individual needs of each animal, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
